Trump Organization: Lawyers of company make last pitch against prosecution

New York lawyers for Trump Organization met today Monday June 28 with persecutors in the Manhattan District Attorney’s office in last attempt to forestall a potential indictment stemming from a longstanding investigation into Donald Trump’s company according to ABC news.

Ring Fischetti, one of the Lawyers for Trump Organization told Association Press the meeting came as a grand jury nears a vote on an indictment this week. The investigation into the former President’s company has been ongoing for over two years.

“There is no incitement coming down this week against the former President. I can’t say he’s out of the woods yet completely” Mr Ron Fischetti revealed

He also emphasized that prosecutors have told the former President that he won’t be charged for now, at least not with what’s coming this week.

Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance Jr has been investigating the former President business deals for sometime now. Just few months ago, investigators focused on fringe benefits Trump Organization gave to top executives such as the use of cars, school tuition and some apartments, and his tax return records.

But the company’s attorney, Ron Fischetti said gathering had been arranged for the the company, Trump Organization, not President Trump himself. We are following this latest story closely and will keep you informed
