Two year old toddler, Mohammed Awal, swept away by flood water confirmed dead in Kumasi

A two year old little boy has died after he was swept away by floodwater in Kumasi in Wednesday night’s heavy downpour. The young boy’s body was later discovered early Thursday morning by NADMO team.
According to JoyNews, this little toddler was travelling with his mother on a tricycle when he met his untimely death.
Because of the flooding,the tricycle got stuck on the way so his mother decided to continue the journey on foot but unlucky for them, they couldn’t reach their destination.
“I pulled the handbrake to stop the tricycle from moving. The passengers kept shouting in fear. They all got down immediately the tricycle stopped and that was when I saw them fall into the floodwater. It took some men to help them out but we didn’t get the child” driver of the tricycle popularly known as pragyia revealed.
As the rain is here with us again, many meteorologists have warn Ghanaians especially those in Accra and Kumasi to be very careful when they step out. Because to them, there are more heavy rains coming.
