Uganda discovers rare minerals worth $1trillion & $12.8 trillion worth of gold deposits

The rare minerals have been discovered in BUSOGA, UGANDA just a month after the country announced the discovery of gold

UGANDA last month announced it has discovered 31 million tons of gold deposits worth $12.8 trillion

The country said it has finally discovered tons of gold after several surveys were conducted. Uganda’s minerals commission said they are waiting for all official steps to commence mining.

Mineral Development Expert, Winnie Ngabirwe also revealed that the minerals were enough to lift Uganda from a “middle income status and beyond”

“If this is indeed the volume that we have, it is time to clean our house and do busines in developing ourselves and our country, by going to the middle income status to and beyond” Winnie said.

Ugandan government have already licensed a Chinese gold mining company, Wagagai to start producing gold products in Busia district. The Chinese gold mining company have already embarked on the construction of its gold refinery which is estimated to costs $200million.

The country aims to attract more gold mining companies and investors which will intern create more jobs for citizens
