Brittney Griner is now free and can play again after a successful deal between the United States and Russian Federation
Brittney Griner who is an American Basketball star was arrested in Russia for drug possession. Though she explained it was for recreational purposes, the laws of Russia still caught up with her.

The United States and Russia has today agreed to a swap deal where Griner will be allowed to come home by Russian authorities. The deal makes way for a convicted Russian arms dealer, Viktor Bout a US official told Fox News.
President of the United States, Joe Biden tweeted awhile ago, confirming Griner was on her way home.
“Moments ago I spoke to Brittney Griner. She is safe. She is on a plane, she is on her way home” he said.
