The Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky was asked to evaluate Kyiv at the behest of U.S government but turned down the offer.
“The fight is here, I need ammunition, not a ride” Zelensky said according to a senior American intelligence official who had a direct knowledge of the conversation. AP cited. There have been reports of Zelensky’s demise but hours ago, the President took to his twiter page to tell the world he was still alive and fighting for the Ukrainian people.
“party leaders are here, the head of the President’s office is here, PM is here, Podoliak is here, President is here” he posted earlier.
There were also news that the President had asked the Ukrainian army to surrender. Hours ago, he posted a video to debunk that claim.
“There is a lot of fake information telling that u ordered the Ukrainian army to surrender. So listen here, I’m here. We are not putting our weapons down. We are going to protect our country, our weapons are our truth” he said. Watch video below
