(Video) An Eyewitness Describes The Horrible Behavior Of Fire Fighters In Dealing With The Fire Outbreak At Makola Market
A man who was present at the scene of the Makola market fire outbreak has described the horrible behavior of the fire fighters’ approach in dealing with the outbreak.
According to the eyewitness, the demeanor of the fire fighters in dealing with the outbreak was disappointing.
He indicated that the fire fighters walked to the premises empty-handed claiming there was no water in their fire tender.
Again, he revealed that a delay on the fire fighters’ side caused the fire to spread to other shops.
Also, he noted that the fire begun with a banner that was outside the shop but due the fire fighters delay, the raging fire spread across other shops.
“You can see from the video that the fire started with a banner outside the shop but it managed to destroy four shops.
Some of us called fire service personnels but they came here empty-handed claiming there was no water.
They did not come with a car [Fire tender] but came here with nothing to quench the fire,” he said.
