(Video) Anti LGBTQ + law unnecessary, Ghana will not have access to loans – Ekow Vincent

Member of Parliament for Old Tafo, Ekow Vincent Assafuah has added his views to recent debate ongoing on LGBTQ+.
According to the MP, the anti LGBTQ law is very unnecessary and will just bring bad image to Ghana. He also revealed that, this law when passed will restrict Ghana from getting access to aids and grants.
He insists the law will put Ghana in an uncomfortable position but MP for Tamale North, Alhassan Suhuyini hold a contrary view, says it’s something that is unnatural.
“It is something that is unnatural. The definition of natural is subjective, so a lot of lawyers have debated this to say that, that specifically does not address the question of LGBTQ +” Suhuyini revealed

“we need to be focused in dealing with some of these issues. Making LGBTQ topical may have dire consequences for us as a nation. It is actually putting Ghana on a certain image that may not access Ghana to be able to rebound from the impact of covid-19 for us to be able to create more jobs. These are monies that are coming from a certain source, the source as we’re all aware have been championing LGBTQ for a lot of years and this will have dire consequences” he said on TV3NEWDAY
