Emma Reducanu wins US Open. 18year old Emma has won US Open. Both Emma, Britain and Leylah Fernandez of Canada made it in the 2021 US Open for women’s final. They are young teenagers, 18years and 19years respectively.

It was a beautiful night to remember in New York when Emma, Britain’s 18year teenager defeated her colleague teenager, Leylah from Canada 19years. Reducanu’s hometown in Bromley, South East London celebrate her after she was declaredwinner. Here’s a video from BBC news UK.

Emma Reducanu as young as she is has become the first British woman in 44years to win a Grand Slam single title. It was in 1977 Virginia Wade won a Grand Slam title.

“it meant everything to get a message from Her Majesty, she’s such a great inspiration and role model for the whole country” Emma’s response after Queen Elizabeth sent congratulation message.

“It is a remarkable achievement at such a young age, and is testament to your hard work and dedication” Queen Elizabeth said
