(Video) Ghana Black Stars Coach, CK Akonnor names provisional squad for world Cup qualifier
Provisional list of Ghana Black Stars squad for the world Cup qualifier has been announced. Head coach, CK Akonnor announced in a press briefing hours ago.
Arsenal midfielder, Thomas Partey, Mohammed Kudus, Mubarak Wakaso, Emmanuel Lomotey,Samuel Owusu and many other players have been called.

The squad also include players from Ghana Premier League, GPL as they have their first call-up to join the senior team.
Players like Daniel Afriyie of Accra Hearts of Oak, Richard Attah also of Hearts of Oak, Philip Baffuor of Dreams FC, Ismail Ganiyu of Asante Kotoko and Abdul Fatawu Issahaku of Steadfast fc have all been called for the first time.

Jonathan Mensah has also returned to the Black Stars squad after years of absence.
The senior team is expected to play against Ethiopia and South Africa. They will face Ethiopia on September 3 and will later travel to Johannesburg on September 6 to play South Africa according to Ghana Football Association, GFA
