(Video) Ghanaian Doctor who met Michelle Obama 9years ago named in UK’s Top 10
Young Ghanaian Doctor has been named in United Kingdom’s Top 10 of Black Students list. Owusu Khadija made it to the 2021 Top 10 Black list after graduating from St George’s University of London.
Khadija Owusu, co-founder of Melanin Medic has succeeded in honouring her childhood dream to become a Medical Doctor. To her, that has always being her dream. She narrates how it all started and how she went through very difficult times growing up as a child, who was brought up by a single parent.

“you’re beautiful and articulate and I am just amazed to watch you continue to become” congratulatory words of Michelle Obama to Khadija Owusu after her graduation.

In an Instagram post, she thanked her mother, friends and all those who supported her during her dark days and throughout her education.

“In 2015, I began embarking on this six year long journey. The dream I had since i was a little girl has finally come to fruition and I thank God for all the blessings. Those of you who know me know that, it has not always been an easy journey, however I didn’t do this alone. For my huge family, the love and support has been real thank you all” she posted on her Instagram page
