According to the former President, Nana Akufo-Addo and his Vice Bawumia and the whole NPP party deceived all Ghanaians during the 2016 and 2020 general elections. Speaking on 93.3fm, the former President said the lies NNP government told Ghanaians about him was just unbelievable. According to him, many Ghanaians have come to believe that perception of his ‘corrupt nature’ but its all lies.
Mr. John Mahama also believe many Ghanaians now believe they were all lies. “Now many of you are quiet” he said

“They said i have built a hotel in Dubai, they said DKM was for my wife Lordina, they said I have built a mansion at Tokyo Harbour so the lies were just too much. They said Lordina and I took $100 million World Bank money, where will you get that money from?. I don’t have any Swiss bank account, I don’t have any foreign account anywhere. My account is in ADB, Zanite and Guarantee Trust Bank. Yes three banks that is where my money is, all in Ghana. If you want to investigate me investigate those banks, my money is all there” Mr. John Mahama revealed
