United States top Military official, General Mark Milley was answering questions asked by US law makers. According to him, President Biden is not obliged to take their advice at all costs. The General said they are just there to give ‘legal advice’

He also acknowledged that the operation did not go as planned.

“My job is to provide legal advice or better still military advice to the President, that’s my legal requirement. The President doesn’t have to agree with that advice. He doesn’t have to make decisons just because we’re Generals. And it would be an incredible art of political defiance for a commission officer to just resign because my advice is not taken” he said
