We can no longer let the people in power decide what hope is, hope is not passive, hope is telling the truth – Climate and environmental activist, Greta Thunberg.
The young climate activist was given her remarks at Youth 4 Climate event in Italy, Milan when she made her statement.
To her, it is high time world leaders stop talking and walk the talk. “We can no longer let the people in power decide what is hope, hope is not passive. Hope is telling the truth, hope is taking action” she emphasized in her speech.
Greta Thunberg has heavily criticized world leaders for failing to tackle issues regarding climate change.

“A healthier and clearer planet will benefit all of us. We must cease this opportunity. Fighting climate change calls for innovation, cooperation and will power to make the changes that the world needs. We need to walk the talk. When I say climate change what do you think of?. Green jobs. We must find a smooth transition towards a low carbon economy, there is no planet B, there is no planet blah. Blah blah blah, blah blah blah. Build back better blah blah blah” Greta continued her statement mentioning ‘blah blah blah’ countless times, alerting world leaders to start walking the talk.
She continued “This is all we hear of our leaders. Words that sound great but so far led to no action” watch video below
