West African Examination Council, WAEC confirm leakage of 2021 maths and English papers.

According to WAEC, two papers have been compromised in recent ongoing West African Senior School Certificate Examination, WASSCE. The papers found their way onto social media hours before the stipulated time for the write up. WAEC says it discovered mathematics (elective) 2 and section A of English Language 2 were circulated on social media.

“After the administration of the test, careful scrutiny of the several versions received indicates extracts of parts of the questions for mathematics (elective) 2 and section A of English Language 2 were circulated on some social media platforms” George Ohene Mantey, Head of Test Administration at WAEC revealed.

Majority of Ghanaians and faithful participants have questioned tye credibility of the Cou cil. They lament terribly of developments on grounds of papers leaking almost every year. But the Council has assured Ghanaians and faithful participants that it will keep the standard and credibility of WASSCE. Below is a full statement.
