Kwasi Kwarteng is a British politician who has been in politics since 2010. He has been a Member of Parliament for Spelthorne since 2010.

As a Conservative politician, Kwasi Kwarteng threw his might behind Liz Truss, who is the current Prime Minister of the United Kingdom. Liz Truss after her victory appointed him as Chancellor of the Exchequer which makes him the first balck person to serve in a Great Office of State. He was however sacked on as finance minister of the United Kingdom of October 14, 2022. He had been the country’s FM for only weeks.
