Top Russian official says the country is at war with NATO and not Ukraine as it may seem.
Russia’s foreign minister Seigei Lavrov explains why Russian Federation already believe it is at war with NATO and not Ukraine.
According to him the West has indirectly involve itself in the war by supplying “heavy weapons” for Ukraine which has possibilities of escalating into a nuclear conflict and eventually leading to a world war III.
Former President of the United States already warned that, Putin invading Ukraine could lead to World War III – Trump. The former President said Putin will not stop what he started which could further escalate the situation.

Top American officials visited Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in Kyiv yesterday. Antony Blinken and Defense Secretary LIoyd Austin promised Ukraine of more “heavy weapons”, a something Russian Federation raised concerns about. The top American officials also promised that United States army will offer some form of training to Ukrainian military. The American top officials believe this form of training will help the Ukrainian military fully equipped to combat Russian soldiers.
U.S Defense Secretary LIoyd Austin during his visit to Kyiv said “Ukraine clearly believes that it can win and so does everyone here. Ukraine needs our help to win today, and they will still need our help when the war is over. As President Biden said, our security assistance has gone directly to the front lines of freedom and to the fearless Ukrainian fighters. My Ukrainian friends, we know the burden that you’re all carrying and you should know that all of us have your back. And that’s why we’re here today, to strengthen the arsenal of Ukrainian democracy“
He also condemned Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, saying “its baseless reckless and lawless”, saying “It is a challenge to free people everywhere. As we’ve seen this morning, nations with goodwill from around the world stand united in our resolve to support Ukraine in this fight against Russia imperial aggression” he said in a video broadcast by Reuters.
On his return to America, he revealed plans being put in place “to expand military training for Ukrainian service members in the region on certain weapons systems”

All these are some of factors why Russia says it is at war with NATO, which risks nuclear conflict and world war III.
Foreign minister Seigei Lavrov told Russian state television “the risks are very significant” and he does not want “the danger to be artificially inflated but its serious, real” and “it cannot be underestimated” he said.
He also said the situation is “wearing out the Russian army” which has “very significant risk the conflict could turn nuclear”. British defense security estimates that over 15,000 Russian troops have been killed in Ukraine so far.
