Well its simple; to help protect the territorial integrity of the Ukrainian people but there may be more to that, though that is the topmost priority.
These are some of the reasons why soldiers volunteered across the world
□ President Zelensky had earlier said soldiers from all over the world who want to fight are welcome.
□ Ukrainian foreign minister also tweeted that “foreigners willing to defend Ukraine” are invited.
“Foreigners willing to defend Ukraine and world order as part of the international Legion of Territorial Defense of Ukraine, I invite you to contact foreign diplomatic missions of Ukraine in your respective countries. Together we defeated Hitler, and we will defeat Putin too”

His message went viral, getting the attention of many warriors from all over the world to join the territorial defense team.
Just four days later, the first group reached Ukraine and got enlisted. 1000s from America, United Kingdom, Canada, Poland etc all got enlisted.
□ Former soldiers will also earn between $1000 to $2000 per day for defending Ukraine. This was also a great factor that got many to be enlisted. They would be called “Extraction/protective Agents – Ukraine”
□ An Indian soldier was questioned by India Today News portal why he came from India to fight and to him, its all about humanity. Here’s what he said. “I want to be in the army for a long time. And the situation made me come here. Now I have many friends here, local friends families” he said.
There are other Ukrainians who also volunteered to fight, including former heavyweight champion and mayor of Kyiv Vitali Klitschko, former president of Ukraine and many others.
