Harris’s transparency contrasts with Donald Trump who is 78 and yet to release a detailed medical report during the 2024 race. Her campaign hopes to leverage this contrast, emphasizing the difference in age, fitness and openness.
Trump’s team defended his health, pointing to previous medical updates that declared him fit to serve. Trump has historically been reluctant to share full health details, despite facing scrutiny over his age and fitness. Harris’s campaign has been quick to highlight this gap, aiming to appeal to undecided voters by positioning Harris as a healthier and more transparent candidate. Trump’s camp, in response, accused Harris of having a lighter campaign schedule due to stamina issues while maintaining that Trump remains physically capable of handling the presidency.
